Jodi graduated with a law degree from the University of Manchester in 1997, completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 1999 and qualified as a solicitor in 2001.
Hailing from Essex and now living in North London, away from work Jodi enjoys playing the piano, shopping, hosting dinner parties, pursuing a lively social life and eating out whenever she can.
Jodi practises commercial and civil litigation and specialises in clinical negligence, personal injury, and professional negligence work.
Jodi deals with all types of clinical negligence and personal injury claimant work, both modest and high value, and has been practising in this field of law since qualification. Her clinical negligence practice encompasses all types of claims including birth injuries, fertility specialists, gynaecological negligence, delayed diagnosis of cancer, and dental negligence. She works exclusively on behalf of Claimants. The practice works closely with AVMA.
Jodi also deals with commercial litigation work with her work covering partnership disputes, disputes arising out of the Commercial Agents Regulations, high value debt collection and property disputes. Since qualifying, the emphasis of Jodi's commercial litigation experience has been primarily in the field of disputes against negligent professionals, especially relating to solicitors' negligence in a wide variety of legal fields. Jodi also has experience in negligence litigation in connection with surveyors and estate agents.
Jodi has been interviewed to give legal advice to viewers on the subject of conveyancing negligence for a Channel 4 property documentary, Housetrapped, and an article has appeared in The Times featuring her legal advice.
She is a member of the Professional Negligence Law Association, APIL and is on the panel of the Law Society's Consumer Complaints Service.
