Born in 1955 and educated in his home town of Preston, Lancashire before
venturing south to the University of Reading to study law (and to meet some very
influential people).
John co-founded Barker Gillette six months after
being admitted.

Regrettably transaction work does not grab the headlines in the same way as
some of the matters handled by my litigation and sports law colleagues and
discretion may be breached by identifying clients and deals.
However on
advice from people close to me I am working out at the gym in the hope of
